Oh, how I love making baby books! And what a perfect time to make them with the number of years photopolymer stamp set and framelits dies out and calling my name to give it a whirl!
I am working on a baby book for a client and wanted to incorporate lots of color to call attention to a card made for each “age”, so I decided to go through my paper scraps and make shapes to layer the numbers on. The book I'm creating uses a Project Life binder and pages, so I wanted to keep the shape similar to the overall design of the book. I decided to use the layering squares thinlits and cut out scalloped squares for a girly touch since the baby book is for a girl. I then took the numbers I cut out for months one through 12 and stamped and cut them out using the matching thinlits. Dimensionals provided adhesive and a bit of a 3-D effect to help give a little extra detail to an otherwise flat layout. Here's how they turned out:
Have you tried Stampin' Up!'s number of years photopolymer stamp set and large numbers framelits yet? What did you create? I'd love to see how this set inspired you!
Ciao for now!
