Have you ever found yourself in one of those moments where you’re going, “I need a card NOW!”? Well, have I got a great solution for you! I often have those moments myself, and over the last few years have been crunched for time more than ever before. I decided to make a collection of cards that I could keep creating and building on, so that I have a box of assorted cards for when those “I need a card NOW!” moments arise.
Stampin’ Up! has a great project kit that accomplishes the exact same thing that I set out to do – you create a tin of cards in a variety of themes and phrases (with dividers too), so you can keep a collection of cards on hand at all times. Here’s a look at what comes in the kit:
You get a reusable tin in a great color (yay!), dividers you can decorate and stamp, embellishments, and cards and envelopes to make 16 cards. That’s a great deal and such a quick way to get your card collection up and running. I put my kit together over the weekend and found it only took 3 hours with ink drying time. Adhesive, ink and the stamp set isn’t included, but they’re not expensive additions and they’re available from the Stampin’ Up! online store.
I chose to buy the adhesive, staz on ink and the stamp set, and I’m glad I decided to make this kit as shown on the design sheet that comes with the kit. Such great designs, and assembling the kit gave me so many new ideas. This is a close up of the photopolymer stamp set (and it’s great for SO many applications):
Here’s a close up of some of the card designs I made with the kit:
Have you tried the Stampin’ Up! Tin of Cards project kit yet? What did you make with it? I’d love to see how the kit inspired you.
Ciao for now!
